Trust & security

Your work, your data, in plain language.

No fine print theatre. Here is exactly how we handle the things that matter — and the things we will never do.

  1. 01

    Your work is yours

You keep full ownership of everything you publish on Daylight — your images, films, words, and your handle. We don't claim a license to exploit your work; we host and present it so it can be seen. Delete your account and your content goes with it.

  2. 02

    Your data is isolated

Every account's data is protected by row-level security at the database. One user cannot read another user's projects, drafts, private profile, or career lens — the database enforces this on every request, not just the interface.

  3. 03

    Your career lens is private

The profile of intent behind Exposure — your origin, throughline, ambitions and constraints — is visible only to you and the AI features you choose to run. It is never shown on your public site, never sold, and never shared with other members.

  4. 04

    Payments are handled by Stripe

We never see or store your card details. Subscriptions run through Stripe, the same processor used by millions of businesses. Your plan can only be changed by a verified payment event — never by you or anyone else editing it directly.

  5. 05

Contact details stay private by default

Your email and representation are hidden on your public portfolio unless you explicitly switch them on. A stranger visiting your site can't harvest your inbox.

  6. 06

    Our AI never invents

Anything our engine writes about you is grounded in what you've told it and the work you've published. Editorial pieces about real people are sourced and credited; we don't fabricate quotes, opportunities, or facts. If we can't verify it, we don't publish it.

  7. 07

We don't sell your data or run ads

Daylight is paid for by the people who use it, not by advertisers. We don't sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
